Rochford Result

On a cold frosty morning we traveled to our old rivals of Rochford, with for once a complete team.
We were playing Rochford second after they had played Barking, both teams were short of players , we lent Rochford two of ours, Jack Boland and Martin Bowers. They played well and helpd Rochford.
We played them next, Jack helped them again and they had a Barking players as well. the game went from end to end as each team probed one another, Rochford opened the scoring in the first half with two tries and we came back at teh end with a darking run from Aliou to score. In teh Second half strong runs by George Duce and George Murtha set up tries for Aliou's second and George Murtha, with George M converting one.
Win under our belt

We then faced a small but efficient Barking Team, they had one very speedy runner who carve a sway though our team to score twice against us, and their large pack scored the third. Aliosu for once was run down and even great tackling by Owen and Natahn against their bisggets players could not advert their winning. A penalty and a scorcing run from Xander Styels got him over the line for our only response, with George M converting it, so a loss of 19-7.

We are off now for Xmas and resume in new year with a trip to Burnham on January 8th.
