U11 came up against a strong Upminster team, but put up a great fight and played some really good rugby.

Woodham were a bit slow to start with the wind and rain. But picked up and so did the tackling, mualing and rucking.

All the players were putting into practice what they have been learning, which made the coaches very proud. We will be working on getting off the mark a bit quicker to not allow the other team to build up too much pace, and continue to build on using the Maul to gain ground.

Great to see the players out on the field having fun.
