Wet Training Session

This week we had 8 players for a rather wet start to the Easter break and British Summer Time. They boys warmed up with some kicking practise followed by a game of Eggs in the Nest.

Moving on to some training around popping the ball from the floor and passing the ball out of the tackle to keep play alive. There was also some sessions around running to the left or right, straightening up and then passing the ball out. All the boys fully committed to the session in a constant barrage of rain, before moving into some light hearted Easter fun. The name of the game was to catch the raw egg without it cracking, which most boys seemed to be pretty good at. Cream Eggs for the winners followed by another session.

Bullet paid the penalty for not wearing something Easter related and endured the pickled egg, although Ralph ended up with most of it. Thanks to Jenny for the Easter Bunny biscuits, to Lewis for the chocolate eggs and Paul for the cream eggs/chocolate bunnies. The fun was finished off with a match of Touch Rugby between the coaches and some parents. Great fun with the black team coming out on top 2 tries to 1.

No training/match next week as its Easter Sunday, so we all get a weekend off. Next session is 2 weeks time and were at home against Southend. Have a great Easter All.
