Romford RUFC and Epping & Upper Clapton RUFC

This week, the U8s played they first away match of the season when they visited Romford, where they played three matches in total against Romford RUFC and Epping & Upper Clapton RUFC.

After a short warm up training session, the boys played there first two matches against Epping. There was plenty of tagging and running with the ball from both sides which resulted in plenty of tries in either direction.

Their final match against Romford was a much closer fought game but again, great tagging and passing was delivered.
Focus from their training sessions has been on making the pass before being tagged and this was demonstrated by all of the team.

Players this week were Marshall, Harry S, Charlie, Archie, Henry and Harry T.

Medals of the week were awarded to Marshall and Harry T for their great supportive play and running with the ball.

Next week, the team play Mersea at Saltcoats Park
