Under 8's At Saracen's Festival 5th May

A 33 strong squad of players, parents and siblings turned up at Allianz Park for a Festival before the Saracens vs Gloucester game.

The weather was terrific, the ground was perfect, and the rugby was fast and furious.

The Squad was Alfie, Brad, Hayden, Katie, Keith, Logan, Luca, Noah, Ollie, Reighly, and Thea. 6-a-side. 12 minute games.

We played teams from Gloucester, Folkestone, Hertford, and Chelmsford. The Team played well in each game, and at times the passing and interplay brought even bigger cheers from the supporters on the side. Great to play in, great to watch. Every player did well on the day.

At the end of the tournament the players had the pleasure of lining up in front of their supporters and ceremoniously removing and throwing their tag belts away. It's contact from now on! The readiness for contact is unbelievable.

The squad got time with some Saracen's academy players. Everyone got the opportunity to get photo's and autographs from some of the best players in the world. Owen Farrell, Mako and Billy Vunipola, Essex's own Jackson Wray to name but a few.
