essex festival

This week we traveled to the Essex Festival at Braintree.

The first game we played was against Rochford, we had played these in the Southend Festival and had great games, on this occasion our boys did not do so well and were a bit slow out of the blocks, the boys grouped and did not play as wide as they were used to and they lost 6-3.

The second game was against Chelmsford and we played better and the boys tried really hard and it was a closer game and if the half's had been longer im sure we would have taken the game but still lost 5-3.

The third game was against Old Brentwoods and the boys were really up for the game, the running with the ball was more direct, the tagging was out standing with 3 X 7 tag turnovers so great defense and we won 3-2 .

The fourth game was against Eton Manor and was the best game of them all, with the boy really getting into their stride they were now passing before and as they were getting tagged the defense was out standing and the running game was great the whole game really came together in a 7-4 win result.
