Saracens

On Saturday we travelled to Allianze park to play in the Saracens plate final.

The boys were really excited about being back there and in the warm up did really well.

In the first game we played we took on Bishops Stortford 2 and in a very tight game we ended up just 1 try behind (to the eventual winners) and we then had to play back to back games and our next opponents were Saracens and I can only say it was the best game the boys had played this season, we got 3 X 7 tag turnovers and scored some great tries but best of all they worked as a team and played defensively by getting back as a team and rushing like we have been training to do, a big well done to all and we won 6-3.

Next we played Upminster 2 and again a great game with only 1 try in it and Upminster just piping us.

Our last game was against Westcliff and even though we played great we couldn't quite do enough to beat them.

The whole day was a great success and the boys did the club and them self's proud we couldn't of asked for any more effort from them.

I would like to thank the parents for bringing the boys and for all their support without you we couldn't carry on.

the player of the week was Joshua Turton and it was a unanimous decision.
