Double header

This week we played host to Harlow and Wanstead.

Harlow brought a new young team but they showed they will be a team to recon with in the future.

Wanstead brought a big team that were very keen to play.

We had 10 boys turn out and played 5 aside each team playing 2 games and then playing each other.

We started off with some passing drills and then we tried to help them with the offside rule.

During the games the boys were passing more and we asked the refs to be hot on the offside rules so all the boys can see the consequence of being offside and how it affected them and the team.

Mat took one side and I the other my team drew and won a game and Mat's side won both games.

The boys played really well and you can see the thing we do in training coming out in the matches we play.

It was very hard to pick a player of the week as all the boys tried really hard, this weeks player got the decision because he listened during the warm up and played well, this weeks player of the week was George well done to him.

News on Felix is he will be out till after Xmas so a speedy recovery to him.
