First Game of the Season

We took two teams to Rochford to mark the first game of the season. Rochford only had one team so a mini festival occurred with our own Tigers playing our own Lions as well as Rochford.

We played 5 games in total with three against Rochford and two against ourselves. It is fair to say we as a team found the larger pitch a surprise and were caught out at times in terms of not being ready...."If you snooze we lose" at the re-start of the games and the defensive lines were not always in position to be ready to counter Rochfords speedy attack. Something we will work on training next week.

That said as we got used to the larger pitch and the space available to run, we got better and better and managed in the third game against Rochford to draw at 4 tries each and were very unlucky not to win.

Man of the match and wig of the week went to Jacob and Amelia.
