What a day

Todays match was wet and very cold, SWF played Braintree and also Eton Manor. The boys were split into 2 teams the Sharks and the Wasps, after a good warm up the boys were raring to go and Wasps took on Eton Manor in a hard fought game with Eton Manor just edging it 6 to 5. The boys got 12 tags during the game and had a good run, they did really well.

Next the Sharks took on Braintree (A) and also did very well running in 7 tries and getting 17 tags on the way to a 7 to 4. Win.

While Wasps played Braintree (B) they also fought really hard on their way to 17 tags and also forced a 7 tag count to get the turnover, but went down 4 to 2.

Sharks took on Braintree (B) getting 12 tags and running in some great tries and narrowly losing 6 to 8.

The Wasps took on Braintree (A) they played a very fast and furious game, the restarts were straight off as soon as teams were ready, the defence being caught out on more then one occasion by both sides. Wasps managed a 7 tag count to get the turnover and also managed 19 tags in the game and running out winners by 6 to 5.

All the boys did very well today in the conditions, everyone wanted to get on the pitch and play and there was very little moaning about the cold (except from a few of us parents) they did the club proud.

Player of the week was Adam Hennessy but it was a close decision as there were many that could have got it.
