training at william de ferrers sports centre

Today the u6, u7 and u8 all trained together at the William de Ferrers sports centre, Wally took charge with the support of all the other coaches.
The kids were split up into teams and enjoyed lots of games including touch bulldog, relay races (in and out of cones) eggs in a nest and a new side to this game where it was run for 2 minutes and each team to get as many eggs (balls) as they can, it looked like a free for all but hey Wally was in charge!

There were a few harsh decisions by the ref (Wally) today including Del and Nathan being disqualified on more than one occasion for cheating (usually for not carrying the ball in both hands), and after the 2 minute eggs in the nest game Wally disqualified all the teams for cheating and I think was deservedly jumped by all the kids in a huge bundle at the end.

All the kids had a great training session and all seemed to have lots of fun let’s look forward to next week’s game at home to Rochford see you there.
