Broken cloud and stiff breeze provided a bright and fresh morning for rugby. The ground was still soft from recent rain which made the tackling much easier to handle.
It was a well disciplined South Woodham team which played three matches in total. Rolling subs kept the players alert and match ready.
The quality of passing has greatly improved which allowed Woodham boys to run better with ball and score plenty of tries.
A strong defensive line also from Woodham forced the visitors to work hard to make ground throughout the three matches.
The quality of play from all the players made awarding the Medal of the Week a tough choice but it was eventually given to Archie for his continued hard work and putting Canvey under pressure on every restart.
Well done boys you did yourselves proud.
Next week we are training at home.
