Under 9's vs Burnham - Sunday 3rd March 2019
The winds held off, but the tries came fast and the players were all blowing hard.........…..
The squad was Alfie, Brad, Charlie, Ellis, Katie, Keith, Logan, Luca, Mikey, Noah, Ollie and Reighley. All keen to play good rugby.
We gave Burnham a few players to keep the sides even during the games. Everyone rotated in supporting the other team.
Some good strong defending lead by Logan. We managed a few turnovers after holding Burnham back for seven tackles. We had plenty of tackles to make during the game, and we need to keep at it, to get more comfortable with being physical in the tackle.
We worked on our passing game in order to spread the play more and get into space quicker.
Well done to each player. Tackles and hard yards were made. One particular magic moment was Ellis dummying to step around the opposition.
