Under 9's visit Burnham

You never really look forward to playing on the Burnham sea wall in December. As ever it was windy, but it stayed dry and we even glimpsed the sun.
With conditions underfoot good, the team went about their business with a great display of spirited defence and our usual running rugby in attack.

We were short of a few players due to other commitments, but with a squad of Alfie, Brad, Ellis, Hayden, Katie, Noah, Ollie and Reighley, we were ready to take on Burnham.

Burnham were players down so we gave them a player throughout the game.

We focussed on tackling in the warm up, as we need the practise. During the game this became stronger, with a lot of double tackles required to stop the strong running Burnham players.
This tight defence gave us turnover ball. Some great pace and handling allowed us to keep the game open when we had the ball.

Well done to everyone, each player made tackles and yards. One particular magic moment was the interplay with Ellis and Brad as they went to score a try.
