Under 9's vs Mersea. Sunday 14th October 2018

It was going to be Thea's last game with the Team before moving to America, and everyone wanted to give her, and her family, a good send off.

Mersea are a new Team at our age group. They turned up with two Teams, and we split evenly to play against them.

Alfie, Hayden, Keith, Luca, Logan and Ollie went on as one Woodham team. Ellis, Katie, Mikey, Noah, Reighley and Thea taking the pitch as a Team.

Both Teams got straight into it with some good running rugby. The tackling is still developing, and improved as the games went on. There was some great passing interplay, committed running, as well as some upfront and also last ditch tackling to stop the opposition.

The effort put in was terrific, and the rain held off all morning. A great way to send Thea and her family off with some fast, dry and good running rugby.
