The first game of the 2018/19 season for U9's

The first game of the 2018/19 season was against Basildon. As both teams have just started to do full contact it was agreed that a mixed training session be held at Woodham, rather than go into a full contact game too early.

The Woodham squad was Alfie, Brad, Hayden, Ellis, Katie, Keith, Logan, Luca, Mikey, Noah, Ollie, and Reighley.

Both Teams were mixed together from the start and did some fun warm ups, pad work, then building to full contact practise.

For the games themselves, we just kept the teams mixed and let the players work at improving their skills.

It was nice to see both teams come together to sing "Happy Birthday" to one of the Woodham players at the end of the day. The spirit of rugby coming through.
