Last Training session of the year

This week saw the last session before the Christmas break, with training at Home. Christmas attire was the order of the day, with santa hats, tinsel and festive clothing being displayed by players and coaches alike.

There were some fine though, of a raw sprout, for the following:

Bravest festive attire went to Jacques and Andre with matching Santa pants warn on the outside of their shorts, superman style. Well done to all for entering into the spirit of the season and being good sports.

The boys concentrated on passing and tackling today, with a verity of games to test the boys skills. Most enjoyable of these was Capture and Escape where the boys had to steal boys from the opposite side or free one of their team mates who had been captured by a tackle.

A final game of a 6 v 7 match but in channels to force the players to pass the ball saw some good runs, excellent tackling and the occasion ruck. Excellent effort put in during the session by all.
