Good session this week

Paul, fresh back from his holidays, lead the session again this week. The area of the game this week that was being concentrated on was the scrum.

The object was to ensure that the boys all understood the scrum engagement, and what to do in a controlled and safe way at each point within the scrum engagement.

If you have not already done so please can you register on the Club website. Pitchero will be the primary way for us to communicate with each other. The website also allows you to state availability for each game and it would really helpful if you could do so. We are a small squad and need 8 players to put out a team.

This last weekend gone only 7 were available and in some cases I was not aware that players were not going to be there. This wasn't a problem last week but if we had been at an away game then it could cause real issues.

On a positive note, we have been asked to attend a festival being run by Leicester Tigers on the 10th November. This is taking place in Newmarket. It is just our age group that has been invited and therefore we can probably go up in a few cars and given the distance I thought that we could head up on the Saturday making a mini tour out of the weekend.
