Witham Away 12th Dec'21

Away to Witham. With were a mix of U12/13’s. They had about 5 U13’s. We played three 15mins thirds.

Our Team were : Alfie, Brad, Charlie, Dexter, Ellis, George, Keith, Noah, Tobi

First third we had two of the Witham U13’s and played 11-a-side. It was competitive. The larger U13’s made big inroads on the ball, but the defences made efforts to tackle low and put them on the ground. It didn’t always work, but most players made the effort.

We gave one of the U13’s back for the second two thirds and cracked on with basically our side and 10-a-side.

A couple of magic moments caught the eye. Noah ripping the ball from their largest player on our 5m. Tap and go from our 5m with Tobi making it into the Witham half, about to get tackled and passed it out to Brad on a great support line - Brad goes in for the try in the corner.

The lads were buzzing at the end, and ready for more, so we ended up doing a bit of King O the Ring and Contact Bulldog.
