Away to Basildon 14th November

Away to Basildon. They have no grown to 29 players, so we played 14 of them! We had two players, George and Tobi, making their first appearance for the Team.

Our Team were : Alfie, Brad, Dexter, Ellis, George, Hayden, Keith, Noah, Tobi.

The first half saw Woodham in the ascendancy with Tony in his first time with the Team running in tries with good speed, stepping and determination to make the line. We were looking hungry for the ball and competing well in the breakdowns.

We split the second half in two in order to pay our respects for Remembrance Sunday at 11am.

In the second half, Basildon came back at us strongly. They made some good telling runs. We fell off a few tackles and Basildon made the most of those. We continued to play good rugby, trying to get a few more passes into the play and worked some good offloads to keep the ball alive.

All in all a good day. Everyone was actively involved. Two new players got game time ( George and Tobi ) and did really well. The Team played well and enjoyed the run out.
