SWF RFC U12's vs Upminster ( H )

Home to Upminster, we played three 15 minute thirds, switching at half time in each end to let both teams feel benefit of the wind and rain in their faces!

Our Team were : Alfie, Brad, Dexter, Ellis, Hayden, Keith, Luca, Mikey, Noah.

Upminster were 14 strong against our bare 9.

The first third was our normal performance – allowing the opposition to run in tries and not really getting into the game. Some good effort, but not consistent enough to sustain us getting tries.

Second third saw us score first and keep our lead throughout. Tackling, rucking, and passing all came together and showed what the Team can really do. We were still taking the ball into contact more than we needed to, as there was plenty of space for our speedsters to move into.

In the final third we dominated the ball and tries early on, but as we went do to 8, then 7 players - Upminster opened us up with some good running from a few pacey players. Excellent effort to see it through at that point.
