Invitational at Westcliff

A brave effort Sunday by the 12 lads that played in both matches vs Westcliff's 2 mixed ability teams.

Although we narrowly lost both matches 3-1 and 5-4, our coach felt that we won the day by just getting on with the job and playing a full 60 minutes of rugby without rest, and making Westcliff work extra hard.

Their coaches complimented our teams rugby ethos, and felt we'd really improved from earlier in the season when they beat us fairly convincingly at the Harlow Festival, and they were aware we had notable absentees.

This coming Sunday we have a home friendly fixture vs Romford, meet time at the club 10am prompt to convene and warm up for a 10.30am KO.
