SWF U13's Away to Basildon

Wow!

SWF U13’s played Basildon in the Waterfall Cup Second Round this morning and what a game.

Both teams were obviously well coached with rucking and tackling fulfilled by both teams but Woodham cleared out and won the ball on their ball and Basildon fractionally more. With more ball possession and strong athletic runs, Woodham managed to score more Try’s, just.

I didn’t see one boy from either side not do his best for his teammates.

No it’s not perfect but effort and commitment are there from all involved and at this stage who can ask for more.
Some of the less experienced players, who have only joined Woodham this year, are tackling and rucking like they’ve been playing since they were toddlers.

If we could learn to time our passes and equally, then catch them, oh lord we’d be a force to be reckoned with. Well played today gentlemen, you are worthy winners.
