U13's Away at Eton Manor

SWF U13's travelled to sunny Wanstead this Sunday morning to play their hosts Eaton Manor. Arriving bleary eyed and semi asleep, the boys warmed up well and prepared themselves for the game ahead.

As the game started Woodham switched on quickest rucking well and with a few individual shows of great ball skills and running excellence, Woodham built a comfortable lead.

At half time the coaches gave their talks and Eaton Manor players had obviously listened, as a very positive spell of play followed but this made the Woodham players dig deep and responded in a manor beyond their years.

The game ended with a score that reflected the complete game but Eaton Manor’s second half definitely required a reaction from Woodham which it got. The best game Woodham have participated in so far this season to a good Rugby team playing at a rugby club that were great hosts with a positive rugby attitude, well done to all involved.
