Saturday sees South Woodham Ferrers RFC host Pegasus Palmerians in a charity game in memory of former player Gary Sutton, who has passed away following a short illness.

Gary played for both clubs and was also a youth coach at South Woodham Ferrors, and representative teams will take to the field at Saltcoats on Saturday (2.30pm) in his memory.

The clubhouse bar will be open from 12.30pm ahead of the 2.30pm kick-off, with the England v New Zealand game to be shown on the big screens too.

A raffle will be held on the day to raise funds for Gary's family, along with other activities to mark a popular character.
