A bumper turnout for our Presentation Day saw our Minis & Youth celebrate their seasons with the award of trophies for each age group.
In addition, the Dave Parkinson Clubman of the Year award was presented to Liam Murphy, who is stepping down as Club President this summer.
Liam has been President for four years, and also served the club as Youth Chairman, Chairman and run the clubhouse and bar in recent years.
A new award was also introduced, with the first Liam Murphy Clubperson of the Year award being presented to Minis & Youth Chairperson Kyley Dewey-Jessener.
Club Chairman Marc Jiggins said: "Liam has been involved in the club for more than 25 years - without him, this club simply would not be here.
"Rugby clubs are built on commitment of volunteers and Liam has been pivotal in the last 40 years.
"Dave Parkinson was a legend of this club and it's fitting that we retire the trophy in his honour with one last name on it."
Liam said: "I'm absolutely blown away. I've loved every minute of it, the ups and the downs, because of the people.
"I've loved all the people I've met over the years and I'm very proud of every bit of work I've ever done for this club. It's very close to my heart. This is amazing and I thank everyone very much."
The 2025/26 Coach of the Year award was presented to Joe Dukelow to mark his work with the club's Ferrets team - after a three-year stint he will move up to Under-7s next season.
Any players wishing to join the Minis & Youth section for the 2026/27 season can contact Kyley via 07519 488999, with training set to resume in September.
