On Sunday 24 October a party of 70 left South Woodham Ferrers at the
crack of dawn to travel to London Wasps. We broke our journey
to participate in a training session organised by the Wasps Coaching
Staff. We joined in with various teams including one club from
Holland.
After an enjoyable couple of hours we reboarded the coach to travel
to Adams Park to watch Wasps v Northampton. Just before
kickoff we took to the pitch for photos with "Sting" and two first
team players.
After a one sided match in which Northampton ran out easy winners,
we headed home. One of the highlights of the day was Jiggo
telling Phil Vickery he was the second best prop in the country
after Jiggo!
I think all agreed the day had been a great success.
